-A message from TheReitzReport.com Webmaster and Editor
What is Yuwie? I was wondering the same thing. (MLM meets Myspace?)
I found this while looking at some sites in the directory at LinkReferral.com (another good way to promote a site for free and gain some traffic for your website or even a Vox blog page)
=================
First off, Yuwie is 100% FREE. like any other "connect with friends" or social networking site. But they claim one major difference.
Yuwie pays you to blog, upload pictures, refer friends, chat, hang out, etc. I have just signed up for it, the site looks good with some good features for the pages. It's an interesting concept, sharing their revenues with community members and I am curious to see where they are a couple years from now. Check out their pitch and sign up for a page. Nothing to lose here and yet another way to get your message out, connect with others and gain more links if you are promoting your service or website. It's all about networking!
Thanks for all your support and keep visiting for more of Steve's posts! Send him your comments!
So, when my friend who helped me come up with TheReitzReport.com told me about the North American Union (NAU) and the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) between Mexico, the United States, and Canada, I was a bit skeptical. I Googled the NAU so I could start doing some research. The first half-dozen websites were not encouraging. Conspiracy theories abounded. The "Amero" is going to replace the American Dollar, the Canadian Dollar, and the Peso in 2010 as the currency of this triumverate. Borders between the three countries will vanish as if they never existed. (Read more about the North American Union at TheReitzReport.com)
How can we, in good conscience, vote for someone who is going to raise our taxes and promote more irresponsibility by offering rewards to those families (and single parents) who continue to have children out of wedlock because they are not responsible or mature enough to use contraception or simply wait until the bonds of marriage to have a child?..(read more about Christian living, responsibility, accountability and Bette Dowdell's article in The Reitz Report at www.TheReitzReport.com)
My publisher sent me an article by Rusty Ford, and I had to share it with my readers, (along with my commentary, of course).
I agree wholeheartedly with the points Mr. Ford has made. His insights are not shocking or surprising to anyone who follows politics and the 2008 Presidential Campaign like I have. To those who do not, however, some of Hillary's brilliant spending plans may come as a bit of a shock. She is trying to grossly expand the federal government and usurp powers granted to the states by the Constitution itself. I am not surprised. Politicians have been doing that for years; Hillary and the rest of the 2008 field are no different...(read more about Hillary Clinton's spending plans and Rusty's article in The Reitz Report at www.TheReitzReport.com)
Mass media is becoming more and more commercialized. Just look at Ted Turner and the absolutely massive conglomerate he owns. Just look at Rupert Murdoch and NewsCorp. Do you honestly think for one New York minute that either one of those two multi-billionaires gives a rat’s ass about what you think of the content of their many stations and networks? My guess would be: Probably not. They don’t care simply because there is just so much to manage and because they make their profits no matter what. They get richer and richer with all of their corporate mergers and buy-outs and takeovers, and they have grown so large and bloated that they have forgotten about the middle man. This is both sides, not liberal or conservative, not Democrat or Republican. Those of you who read my blogs know that I try to avoid both labeling and name-calling, because my parents-in-law are some of the most conservative people I know – and they are Democrats. My state’s Republican senator, Arlen Specter, is one of the most liberal politicians I know, except around election time. The same was true of Rick Santorum; now he is out of office, and the son of our now-deceased governor, Robert Casey, another staunch Democrat who votes the party line, is in his place; but I digress...(Read more about the Media Conglomerate here on TheReitzReport.com)
For those of you who don't know who Joe Galloway is, think of the Mel Gibson movie "We Were Soldiers". A young Joe Galloway, portrayed in the movie by Barry Pepper, traveled with the 7th Air Cav, whose commander, LTC Hal Moore (Gibson) to the US military's first major military operation in Vietnam, in a valley called Ia Drang. Galloway later co-wrote the book "We Were Soldiers Once....and Young". He has been staunchly behind military men and women since that fateful day when he experienced the harsh realities of combat for the first time.
Galloway, despite his true and devoted support to the men and women of the US military, has been an open critic of the Iraq war, almost since its inception. Given his history and background, and although I disagree with his stance on a good number of issues regarding the war, I respect the man. I respect his opinion, and I respect his strength of character and convictions. As the above title suggests, he is blasting the hypocritical politicians on both sides (though he singles some out --albeit, not by name, but given the above background, it's not difficult to figure out who he means) who claim to support the troops while cutting much-needed benefits. He brings up many good points, and I want you to see them for yourselves. (Read more about Joe Galloway's Thoughts About the Troops and Polititians at Christmas)
I was reading the following op-ed-slash-book-review in the Washington Times last week during a slow spot at work. I found it to be an insightful piece on the one thing that bothers me the most in American politics: Partisanship and the polarization of America. I'll let you read it and judge for yourself:(Read more about Partisanship and the Polarization of America, let me know what you think.)
I came across an interesting piece in the same Washington Times. This one is about Iran. As always, I'll provide the link and offer some commentary. The bottom line is that Iran cannot be trusted. Just because the NIE assesses that they halted their nuclear weapons program 4 years ago does NOT mean they lack the capacity to re-start it at any time they want. It also does NOT mean that the NIE is correct, or even accurate...(Read more, check out the article about the fantasies and realities of opening direct talks with Iran, and let me know what you think.)
Our country has become so divided and so polarized. I am trying to
maintain my objectivity, and not force my views on other people.
The right is doing it -- Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, et al
-- as well as the left (though the only one of them who comes to
mind is the forthcoming Keith Olbermann, formerly of SportsCenter
and The Daily Show fame)..(Read More on Media Bias at TheReitzReport.com)
